FAQ
How long does it take to get my photos/video back?
Delivery time is usually 2-3 months
Are there travel fees?
Any wedding outside of Utah county and Salt lake county will have travel fees. We try to keep this number as low as possible because we don’t like to charge just as much as you don’t like to pay! If it’s out of state usually it will just be the cost of a flight and a brief stay in a near hotel, if it’s within driving distance (50 miles outside of Provo, UT) it will be 39 cents per mile
What is your cancellation policy?
Due to the nature of us booking months (sometimes years) in advance our cancellation fee is the initial retainer fee. Future payments will be cancelled. Any weddings cancelled within 90 days of the wedding unfortunately cannot be issued a refund.
How do you deliver my photos/video?
Depending on which bundle you select this answer could vary. No matter the bundle we will always deliver both photo and video digitally. Some of our higher bundles come with a video book, anniversary gifts, engraved flash drive, etc.
What if my wedding goes longer than expected?
We make sure we plan with you on how many hours you need for your wedding. We understand sometimes that goes longer. We will only charge overtime fee’s if your wedding exceeds 1 hour past your selected package. We’ll make sure that’s okay with you before staying.
How do you handle dark venues and low light situations?
We always come prepared with 4 high powered lights to light up any situation. On top of that we have lights / flash that mount on our cameras to make sure your video is as high quality as possible.
What is your policy on sharing the wedding video/pictures on social media?
We love social media! We encourage you to post anything and everything to your pages. We just ask that you tag us as your videographer or photographer 🙂
Can I place a filter on my pictures to match my feed?
No. Altering any pictures takes away from our hard work and reduces the quality. We would hope you hired someone who already would match your feed if that’s something that’s important to you.
Should I bring family and friends to my bridal session?
We recommend bringing one person to your bridal session (Mother of the bride, Maid of honor, sibling etc.)
What is your payment structure?
To officially be booked and in our schedule, we require a 25% downpayment and signed contract. For local weddings it’s more common for a 50% down payment. Once the contract is signed you will be in our official schedule and we will immediately start planning your wedding with you!
What equipment do you use?
We shoot on Canon R5’s. Arguably the best photo/video hybrid camera you can get. We take pictures in RAW format and shoot all video in strictly 4K. The R5 shoots at 45 megapixels and has the best in camera colors that canon offers.
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely! I understand how much stress planning a wedding is. We want to make it as easy as possible and make sure you get your dream Videographer and Photographer! We can figure out a payment plan that makes sense for your budget.
Will you be the one shooting and editing our wedding video?
Yes! We shoot and edit everything ourselves. At times I will hire my second shooter to be a main shooter for part of a wedding. This is something that would be talked about beforehand with a quality check guaranteed.
What is your backup and data storage procedure?
We backup EVERYTHING the second we get home. We have an initial hard drive we back your wedding up on and another portable drive. It’s backup up in 2 places at all times to ensure your wedding footage is safe. We also NEVER delete footage. EVER. So if a few years down the road you want an additional edit we have that footage on hand for you.
How do you handle privacy concerns for people who do not want to appear in the video?
If anyone has a concern about being on camera we would talk about it before your wedding and make sure we keep them out of all shots (Grooms don’t apply)
